Uniform shop

​Avoca State School is a uniform school and the expectation is that all students in attendance will wear the correct school uniform.

The school has an official school uniform and this is described below. Except on designated days for specific purposes, regular clothing is not generally worn by Avoca State School students unless there are exceptional circumstances. Fully enclosed shoes are considered essential for safety reasons. 

The Avoca School Uniform is available from the Avoca State School P&C Uniform Shop. The Uniform Shop operates from the school Tuckshop. Payment can only be made by cash or direct bank deposit. View our Uniform Shop Price List 2022.pdf

Regular opening hours: Wednesday and Friday 8:15am – 8:45am.                                

The uniform shop opens for extended hours during the last week of the Christmas vacation. Please call the office for opening hours. 

Boys and girls

Shirt: Sublimated blue, black and white polo shirt with printed school logo.

Boys

Shorts: Black cotton back shorts with school logo. 

Girls                                                               

Black cotton back combo/skort with school logo or Black cotton back shorts with school logo.  

Shoes

Closed in shoes e.g. joggers (preferably black) and white Avoca ankle socks with Avoca SS text on band. 

Hats

Black Sunsmart hat (must be a wide-brimmed hat or legionnaire-style) caps do not comply with the school’s commitment to sun safety. Available with School Logo.

Winter uniform

Black tracksuit pants and  royal blue sweater/cardigan (to be purchased from external retailers)

Please note: This uniform is used for all occasions including sport.
