Avoca Outside School Hours Care is an idependently run care provider separate to Avoca State School and provides care for children aged 4.5 years to 16 years. The provider has a team of positive and enthusiastic educators as well as their Management Committee who oversees the running of the centre.
The goal of Avoca OSHC is to provide the children who attend the service with a wide range of experiences to participate in, such as art, cooking and manipulative activities.
Opening hours are 6:30am-8:30am for Before School Care and 3:00pm-6:00pm each afternoon for After School Care. During the school holidays the service is open Monday to Friday 6:30am-6:00pm. On school holidays the children participate in a variety of excursions to help build on each child’s skills and interests.
